The summer season has come to an end and as previously announced, Let's Race will be shut down. The site will be kept online to maintain old races and results, but without the possibility to log in or add new races.
Thanks for these last six seasons!
After a long struggle trying to get Let's Race profitable, we've decided that this season unfortunately seems to be the last one for the site.
Existing clubs are welcome to use the site the rest of the summer season.
It is now possible to get instant updates on new races by subscribing to our RSS feed.
We have also integrated Facebook Like buttons on the races, so that you can show your friends what races you like.
A lot of smaller issues has also been fixed, such as e-mails being sent with the wrong language, support for LapZ transponders and the possibility to register to a race without a club.
We have been hard at work completing the new version of Let's Race which brings a couple of new features.
The big new feature is that you can have multiple licenses in your profile, meaning that you can have both your international license and your local license here on Let's Race. The organizers can also specify what licenses are allowed to register, as well as allowing registrations without any license (useful for example for club races or non official race classes).
It is also possible to enter your skill so that the organizers easier can make the heat arrangements based on the how good you and the other racers are.
There are also a couple of news for the clubs, for instance is it now possible to see a complete history of who registered and deregistered to a race.
We upgraded the site today, and the new features brings mostly news to the clubs, but also some that is visible for all visitors. Most noticeable is that we changed the way the headers on the site works, to make them load quicker but also look a lot better than before. We also changed the buttons on the site, to make them look prettier and fit the page a bit better.
As always, we strongly recommend that you use a modern web browser to view this site: Google Chrome (our new favorite), Firefox or Safari. The current versions of Internet Explorer doesn't handle all features used on Let's Race, however the site will still be usable, just less pretty.
Let us know what you think!
